Abstract

SCIENTIFIC WORKS ON PSYCHIATRIC NURSING CARE IN
SCHIZOPHRENIA PATIENTS WITH SOCIAL ISOLATION NURSING

Social isolation is where the individual experiences a decrease in
interacting or even being unable to experience interaction with the people around
him. Patients with social isolation experience interference in interacting and usually
experience behavior that does not want to communicate with those around them.
Nursing care for schizophrenic patients with social isolation nursing
problems: withdrawal was carried out in the Larasati Room of RSJD Dr Arif
Zainudin Surakarta for 5 days. The method used is the nursing process approach.
The results of the study found that the client experienced social isolation. After
implementing nursing using the SP 1 2 3 implementation strategy, the client's
evaluation results show slow progress, evidenced by the client having to repeat SP
1 for 3 consecutive meetings and the client still cannot start a conversation with
other people, there is still bocking. Clients with social isolation need good
interaction therapy. The role of nurses is needed in comprehensive nursing care to
get optimal results.
