Abstract

Vtuber or virtual YouTuber is one of the results of technological developments in the multimedia field. Since its initial appearance, its popularity has increased every day, triggering the emergence of new trends. A report taken from a site that focuses on analyzing a YouTube account, namely Playboard, revealed that VTuber Hololive had achieved profits or income of more than 5.7 million USD, if converted into rupiah it would be around 81 billion. This calculation comes from or is obtained from Vtubers who are in the top 5 of the top charts, and would be bigger if calculated based on the top 10 talents at the Hollive company. As a result of the large interest in the VTuber profession, agencies or companies that accommodate artists. received a new challenge where they had to choose 3 artists from hundreds of applicants. The use of the SAW method for a decision support system is aimed at overcoming problems in making decisions regarding the selection of potential talent or new YouTube artists, so that it is more efficient, fast and accurate. The SAW method or simple addivite weighting is used because the calculation process is fairly easy to understand and understand, it is also simpler than the AHP method.
