Abstract
LRT train testing is carried out using a 750 VDC high voltage electric current originating from the DC substation using the Third Rail or third rail to the train load according to the specifications of the normal LRT train power supply. The LRT train testing process involves various related parties and requires an operator to be tasked with turning on and off the electricity from the substation by manually pulling or releasing the safety lever connected to the conductor wire. To expedite the LRT train testing process, the safety of all parties must be prioritized. Based on this, this tool is designed for an Android-based high voltage downstream monitoring and control system for the third rail supply of LRT trains. This tool is designed using a pzem-017 sensor as a voltage and current value reader, an LCD display to display high voltage status information, a relay module as a system for disconnecting and connecting in a controlled manner, ESP 8266 as a communication bridge for the tool with other applications. From testing this tool, the results were obtained that the control system can disconnect and reconnect the voltage flowing from the third rail of LRT trains, the system can display voltage status information on the LCD display and many applications have succeeded in controlling remote control and can also receive data from the system. monitoring. This tool is also equipped with safety voltage drops below 10 volts and excess voltage above 13 volts. This system can help reduce the performance of an operator and can provide a sense of security because it can be accessed remotely.
