Abstract

Land certificates are government documents that continue to serve as proof of land ownership. Even the state delegates the printing of these land certificates to PERURI, where the printing process employs specific methods to make it difficult to counterfeit. As time goes by, more people are involved in processing these land certificates, from transfer of ownership, subdivision, to obtaining new ones. Among various factors, one of the primary reasons for processing land certificates is the existence of a Letter C document registered at the local village office. Residents, especially those in Sukoharjo village, face difficulties in processing land certificates due to the lack of knowledge about the origin of the Letter C document. To address this issue, researchers have developed an application search system using the Levenshtein Distance method. This system aims to simplify and expedite the search for Letter C documents, thereby assisting residents in obtaining copies of the Letter C document they need.
