Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of one-way roads on Jalan Hos Cokroaminoto which has been carried out since 2021 after going through a survey and trial for one month. In 2024, the Regent of Ponorogo plans to continue the program on five other roads. This research uses a new media theory developed by Pierre Levy, which is relevant to the research topic. The method used was a conventional qualitative content analysis from Hsieh and Shannon. The research found that there was associative social interaction in the form of cooperation and dissociative social interaction in the form of opposition on social media. Social integration on the @ponorogo.update Instagram account can be seen through the comment column and mentions between followers. Researchers expect social media users, especially Instagram, to be wiser in using social media by paying attention to existing ethics and social norms.
