Abstract

Early childhood education (PAUD) is a critical foundation for child development. However, many PAUD programs tend to focus on cognitive aspects while neglecting emotional and social development. This study aims to explore and implement a holistic approach in PAUD that balances cognitive, emotional, and social aspects. The research method used is a qualitative case study with data collection through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the holistic approach can enhance the balanced development of children in cognitive, emotional, and social aspects. This approach also shows increased parental involvement and classroom learning effectiveness. These findings highlight the importance of integrating these aspects into the PAUD curriculum to support comprehensive child development.

Comments on the significance of the results or brief conclusion: The implementation of a holistic approach in PAUD not only improves children's cognitive development but also strengthens their emotional and social skills, which are essential for school readiness and their future lives.
