Abstract
In an effort to improve the quality of schools, SMPN 1 Bendo conducts teacher performance assessments to ensure that teachers carry out their duties and responsibilities well so that the predetermined competency standards can be achieved. However, there is no system that supports the assessment so that the assessment does not consume a lot of energy, time and money. Therefore, a decision support system for the best teacher assessment will be built using the simple additive Weighting (SAW) method, to make it easier for SMPN 1 Bendo to conduct assessments for selecting the best teachers. The system development method used in this study is the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The stages are planning, design workshops, and implementation. The results of this study are that the best teacher decision support system is ready to be used effectively in supporting the best teacher assessment process at SMPN 1 Bendo. The success of this implementation shows that the SAW algorithm can be applied optimally in multi-criteria-based decision making.
