Activity intolerance is insufficient energy to carry out daily activities.
Apart from that, activity intolerance is also defined as insufficient physiological
or psychological energy used to continue or complete daily activities that one
wants to do or must do. The aim of this case study is to determine nursing care for
acute myocardial infarction patients with activity intolerance nursing problems.
Nursing care for acute myocardial infarction patients with activity
intolerance nursing problems in the ICU Room at RSU Muhammadiyah Ponorogo
for 3 days on 28 - 30 October 2024. This research method is a qualitative case
study using descriptive writing techniques through nursing care for myocardial
infarction patients acute with activity intolerance nursing problems.
The results of the assessment found that the patient was weak, especially
during activities and felt palpitations, complained of shortness of breath, tiredness
after activity. The patient looks weak, the patient looks tired, the patient's
activities are fully assisted by family and nurses. The problem that arises in patients with acute myocardial infarction is activity intolerance. Therefore, an
energy management intervention was carried out by providing education on bed rest and reciting the Koran and recommending carrying out activities gradually
in an independent manner to train strength. The evaluation obtained after being given bed rest and reciting the Al-Quran is expected to reduce shortness of breath, anxiety and chest pounding.
