Abstract

The rapid economic growth in Asia Pacific countries has led to increasing economic needs between countries. This will indirectly impact Indonesia regarding the migration of Indonesian migrant workers abroad. This study aims to determine the effect of the number of Indonesian migrant workers (PMI), remittances, foreign direct investment, and exports on economic growth in Indonesia. The method used in this analysis technique is quantitative, while the tests used are multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination (R2) test, F test (simultaneous), and t test (partial). The results of data processing indicate that the variable number of Indonesian migrant workers partially has no significant effect on economic growth. The variables remittances, foreign direct investment, and exports partially have a significant effect on economic growth. Meanwhile, the results of the simultaneous test show that the variables number of Indonesian migrant workers, remittances, foreign direct investment, and exports have a significant effect on economic growth.
