Abstract

The Dawet Jabung business is a form of MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise) based on traditional culinary practices that has developed in Ponorogo but still faces various challenges in increasing income. This study aims to determine the influence of business capital, raw materials, business location, and business duration on the income of Dawet Jabung entrepreneurs in Mlarak District.

The researcher chose Mlarak District as the research location because it has the highest number of Dawet Jabung entrepreneurs in Ponorogo Regency. This study uses a quantitative research method. The data source used is primary data, with data collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing. The respondents in this study were 45 Dawet Jabung entrepreneurs in Mlarak District.

The results of the first hypothesis test show that the business capital variable has a significant effect on income. The effect is negative, meaning that an increase in business capital does not necessarily result in an increase in income. The second hypothesis test shows that the raw material variable has a significant effect on income. The effect is positive, meaning that an increase in raw materials leads to an increase in income. The third hypothesis test shows that the business location variable affects income. The effect is positive, indicating that a better business location leads to higher income. The fourth hypothesis test shows that the business duration variable has a significant effect on income. The effect is negative, meaning that a longer business duration does not necessarily lead to higher income. The fifth hypothesis test shows that simultaneously, the variables of business capital, raw materials, business location, and business duration significantly affect the income of Dawet Jabung entrepreneurs in Mlarak District, Ponorogo Regency.
