Abstract

Adinda Kusuma Wardani. Development of Mathematics Learning Media “SOLMATIK” Based on Google Sites to Improve Problem-Solving Skills in Grade VII Comparison Material. Thesis. Mathematics Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo, Supervisor 1 Drs. Jumadi, M.Pd., Supervisor 2 Dwi Avita Nurhidayah, M.Pd.
This research aims to develop a Google Sites web-based mathematics learning media to improve problem-solving in students that meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This learning media was developed using the Google Sites platform, designed with an attractive appearance, easy navigation, and interactive content such as learning videos, educational games, sample problems, and online practice exercises. This research is expected to make a positive contribution to the development of learning media to improve students' problem-solving skills in accordance with learning objectives and outcomes.
This research is a Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The product was assessed using validation sheets from material experts and media experts to determine the validity of the media and materials produced, student and teacher practicality sheets to determine the level of practicality, and essay test questions to measure the effectiveness of the learning media. The subjects in this study were 32 students from SMP Negeri 1 Sawoo.
The results showed that the "SOLMATIK" mathematics learning media received a validity score of 91.6% from the material experts, categorized as "Very Valid" and 86.6% from the media experts, categorized as "Very Valid." The student practicality questionnaire obtained a score of 81.8%, categorized as "Very Practical," and the teacher practicality questionnaire obtained a score of 80%, categorized as "Practical." Meanwhile, the N-Gain test on student learning media effectiveness resulted in a score of 0.60, categorized as "effective."
