Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of financial literacy and the accessibility of digital financial innovations on financial inclusion among trade sector MSMEs in Ponorogo District. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula, resulting in 100 respondents out of a population of 1,400 in 2024. A quantitative approach was employed with proportional sampling, and data were collected through face-to-face questionnaires distributed to MSME actors. Data analysis techniques included classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, data quality tests, and hypothesis testing.
The findings, based on explanatory analysis, indicate that financial literacy has a negative (inverse) effect on financial inclusion, while the accessibility of digital financial innovations has a positive and partially significant effect on financial inclusion among trade sector MSMEs in Ponorogo District. Furthermore, the F-test results show that both financial literacy and digital financial innovation accessibility simultaneously influence financial inclusion. The coefficient of determination (R²) was found to be 0.605 (60.5%), suggesting that the two independent variables can sufficiently explain financial inclusion among MSMEs in the trade sector of Ponorogo District.
