Abstract

Dalam era digital saat ini, jaringan internet yang stabil dan efisien menjadi kebutuhan penting, terutama dalam mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran daring di lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengoptimalkan penggunaan tipe antrian (queue type) pada Mikrotik RouterOS v7.15 untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan (Quality of Service) jaringan internet di SMP Negeri 6 Sudimoro. Queue type yang diuji meliputi Default Small, CoDel, FQ-CoDel, dan CAKE, dengan pengujian berdasarkan parameter QoS yaitu Throughput, Delay, Jitter, dan Packet Loss menggunakan standar TIPHON. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengambilan data melalui Wireshark dan analisis perbandingan menggunakan Excel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa queue type FQ-CoDel memberikan performa terbaik dalam hal Throughput dan stabilitas jaringan, dengan nilai Delay dan Jitter yang rendah serta Packet Loss minimal. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan FQ-CoDel sebagai queue type yang optimal untuk diterapkan dalam jaringan pendidikan, khususnya pada kondisi sekolah dengan banyak pengguna aktif dan kebutuhan akses internet yang tinggi.
