The purpose of this study is to (1) find out the life skills education program (2) find out the interpersonal intelligence of students (3) find out the effect of the lifeskill education program on the interpersonal intelligence of students at
Azmania Ponorogo Islamic Boarding School.
This research is a quantitative study with simple linear regression analysis techniques. The population of this study amounted to 57 students using saturated sampling technique, which is a sampling technique that makes the entire population to be selected as sample members. The analysis used in this study is pearson product moment to determine the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable.
The results of this study indicate that: (1) the life skills education program for male students at the Azmania Ponorogo Islamic Boarding School is at a good
category level with a percentage of 84,4% (38 students). (2) the interpersonal intelligence of students at the Azmania Ponorogo Islamic Boarding School is at a good level with a percentage of 66,7% (30 students); and (3) The results of
hypothesis testing through the results of the t-count and t-table questionnaire values with a significant level of 5%, where the acquisition of data from variable X t-count of 3.764>1 and t-table of 1.681 is corroborated by the significance level (0.001 <0.05). And the coefficient of determination value showsa figure of 0.248. Thus, life skills education contributes 24.8% to the interpersonal intelligence of santri. It is concluded that there is an influence of the life skills education program on the interpersonal intelligence of students at the Azmania Ponorogo Islamic Boarding School.
