This study aims to determine how the process of community empowerment in Jugo Village, Mojo District, Kediri Regency is running through the Corporate Social Responsibility function as an effort to strengthen the local economy. This study aims to describe what already exists and applies. In addition, this descriptive study is also a problem-solving procedure that is investigated by moving, describing the wealth of subjects, research objects (individuals, Community Institutions and others). This study uses a qualitative research approach. Qualitative research aims to understand and explain social phenomena in depth through interpreting the context, experiences, and perspectives of individuals involved in the phenomenon. This study also utilizes five theoretical foundations: Corporate Social Responsibility, community empowerment, future empowerment, local economic strengthening, and the relationship between CSR and community empowerment and local economic strengthening. The results of the study, the importance of the role of the village government in the community empowerment program run by the private sector through the Corporate Social Responsibility function. The village government is considered the main driver in organizing, managing, and fostering the private sector to achieve the goals of economic and social empowerment at the local level. The data analyzed shows that the success of the empowerment program is highly dependent on the ability of the village government to provide technical support, access and facilities.
