Akhlak merupakan pondasi utama dalam segala aspek kehidupan. Selain faktor alami, akhlak juga dapat dipengaruhi oleh media sosial. Media sosial memiliki dampak positif dan negatif terhadap akhlak. Oleh karenanya, dibutuhkan beberapa upaya untuk mencegah dampak negatif media sosial terhadap akhlak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan media sosial YouTube dan dampaknya terhadap akhlak siswa kelas II di MSU Nashrus Sunnah kota Madiun. Serta upaya pencegahan dari dampak negatif media sosial YouTube.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan, yang dilakukan dilokasi penelitian untuk menggambarkan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Dalam hal wawancara peneliti mewawancarai wali kelas dan wali murid kelas II. Adapun dalam observasi, peneliti melakukan observasi pada siswa kelas II Madrasah Salafiyyah Ula Nashrus Sunnah Kota Madiun.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Penggunaan media sosial YouTube di kelas II dimulai dari rentang usia dua hingga lima tahun dengan durasi 30 menit hingga 2 jam. 2) Media sosial YouTube memiliki dua dampak, yaitu dampak positif apabila digunakan dengan bijak. Dan dampak negatif apabila penggunaannya salah. 3) Upaya - upaya pencegahan dari dampak negatif media sosial YouTube adalah kerjasama antara orang tua dan guru untukengawasi dan mengedukasi anak agar bijak dalam bermedia sosial. Hasil yang didapatkan setelah menerapkan upaya-upaya tersebut adalah terjadinya perubahan positif yang signifikan terhadap siswa.

Morals are the main foundation in all aspects of life. In addition to natural factors, morals can also be influenced by social media. Social media has positive and negative impacts on morals. Therefore, several efforts are needed to prevent the negative impacts of social media on morals. This study aims to determine the use of YouTube social media and its impact on the morals of class II students at MSU Nashrus Sunnah, Madiun City. As well as efforts to prevent the negative impacts of YouTube social media.
This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of field research, which is carried out at the research location to describe qualitatively descriptively. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations and documentation. In terms of interviews, the researcher interviewed the homeroom teacher and guardians of class II students. As for observations, the researcher observed class II students of Madrasah Salafiyyah Ula Nashrus Sunnah, Madiun City.
The results of the study show that: 1) The use of YouTube social media in class II starts from the age range of two to five years with a duration of 30 minutes to 2 hours. 2) YouTube social media has two impacts, namely positive impacts if used wisely. And negative impacts if used incorrectly. 3) Efforts to prevent the negative impacts of YouTube social media are cooperation between parents and teachers to supervise and educate children to be wise in using social media. The results obtained after implementing these efforts are significant positive changes in students.
