Abstract
In an effort to reduce energy consumption and improve power efficiency, the installation of On-Grid Solar Power Plants (PLTS) is a relevant solution for the commercial sector, including banking. On-grid PLTS allows the energy generated to be directly fed into the public electricity grid, thereby reducing dependence on fossil fuels. The PLTS and grid power consumption monitoring system utilizes voltage, current, and light (LDR) sensors to monitor performance in real-time. Sensor data is processed using an STM32F446RE microcontroller with an Arm Cortex-M4 core which has digital signal processing and multi-ADC capabilities for high accuracy.
This research aims to design an STM32-based power consumption monitoring system that can simultaneously monitor energy flow from PLTS and the grid, providing data for energy use optimization and improving the operational efficiency of on-grid PLTS systems. This research successfully designed and implemented an STM32 microcontroller-based power monitoring system for a hybrid on-grid Solar Power Plant (PLTS) that is capable of monitoring electrical and environmental data in real-time. This system integrates ZMPT101B, ACS712, DHT11, and LDR sensors to measure voltage, current, temperature, humidity, and light intensity, with accurate and responsive results, even at low loads.
