The Healthy Active Village Without Smoking Indications (Desakti) program is an innovation of the Brahu Village Government, Siman District, Ponorogo Regency, coordinated with the Ponorogo Health Office in supporting the No Smoking Area (KTR) policy through an educational and participatory approach. This research is important to understand how the village government's communication strategy plays a role in implementing the Desakti program while building a healthy village image among the community. The purpose of this study is to analyze the communication strategy of the Brahu Village Government in implementing the Desakti program and its implications for the formation of a healthy village image. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation with informants selected using purposive sampling techniques, including the village government, health workers, health cadres, and the community. Data analysis was conducted using Miles and Huberman's interactive model, which included data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and data validation through triangulation. The results of the study show that the communication strategy of the Brahu Siman Ponorogo Village Government was implemented in a planned and sustainable manner through the establishment of the program's vision and mission, the formulation of persuasive messages, the selection of communicators, the use of appropriate communication media, and the active involvement of the community. This strategy contributed to raising public awareness of the dangers of smoking, encouraging behavioral change, and shaping the image of Brahu Siman Village as a village that cares about health.
