Student discipline is a crucial element in creating an optimal learning environment. Unfortunately, the process of determining sanctions for violations still often relies on manual methods, resulting in inefficiencies and decisions that tend to be subjective. In response to this issue, this study focuses on designing a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) algorithm. The objective is to assist the school in determining student disciplinary sanctions in a more objective and effective manner.

The SAW algorithm functions by calculating the total violation score based on predetermined criteria, enabling the system to recommend the most appropriate sanction. The implementation of this system was conducted as a case study at MA Wali Songo Putra, where it was designed to replace manual record-keeping with a more precise and accessible digital system. The testing results indicate that the system successfully accelerates and enhances transparency in assessing the level of student violations by the school authorities.

With the implementation of this system, it is expected that the management of student violation data will become more systematic, the accuracy of sanction decisions will improve, and the integration of technology in managing school discipline can be effectively realized.
