In the rapidly growing information era, crical thinking becomes a crucial skill to prevent individuals from being easily influenced by invalid or misleading information.
This research aims to: 1. To examine the concept of critical thinking, 2. The characteristics of individuals who prossess critical thinking skill, 3. And the importance of applying critical thinking in the learning process. The method used in this study is a literature review by anlyzing various relevant books and scientific journals. The results indicate that critical thinking can improve problem solving skills, decision-making abilities, and te quality of learning. Therefore, the development implemented of critical thinking skill should be consistently implemented in education so that students are able to think independently, rationally, and responsibly.
