Andum Berkah Jenang Candi Magetan is a picture storybook developed as a learning medium for early childhood by incorporating the local wisdom of Magetan Regency. The book aims to introduce children to local culture, particularly the tradition of Jenang Candi, through engaging stories, colorful illustrations, and simple language that is easy for young children to understand. In addition to introducing this traditional culinary heritage, the book also instills positive character values, such as cooperation, gratitude, caring, togetherness, and appreciation for local culture.

The product was developed through several stages, including needs identification, story content design, illustration and story layout development, validation by media and content experts, product revision, and a limited trial involving children aged 4–6 years. Each stage was carried out to produce a learning medium that is engaging, interactive, easy to use, and appropriate for the developmental characteristics of young children. The results of the product trial indicated that all components of the learning media functioned effectively and received positive responses from the children, as demonstrated by their enthusiasm, sustained attention, and active participation throughout the learning process.

The Andum Berkah Jenang Candi Magetan picture storybook is expected to become an innovative literacy medium that contributes to preserving local cultural heritage while strengthening character education and supporting language development in early childhood. Its novelty lies in the combination of a picture storybook, local cultural education, character education, and a trilingual presentation, making it eligible for registration as a copyrighted work under Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
