Schizophrenia mental disorder is one of the public health problems in Indonesia. The family is the primary support system that provides immediate care for any health-sick condition of a schizophrenic. Recurrence of schizophrenia can have a bad impact on the family, therefore family support is needed to reduce the recurrence rate of schizophrenia. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family support and the occurrence of schizophrenia recurrence. Article searches use Science Direct, Pubmed and Google Scholar to find articles that match the inclusion and exclusion criteria and then do a review. Journal analysis is obtained based on variables, design, population and sampling and conclusions. The analyzed literature review shows that of the 10 journals that have been reviewed, 9 journals show that there is a significant relationship between variable 1 and variable 2.And we get 1 journal that has no relationship between variable 1 and variable 2. Based on the results of the literature review in the analysis, it can be seen that family support affects the occurrence of recurrence. Researchers recommend first that families should provide motivation and attention to schizophrenic sufferers, secondly to the community it is expected not to give a stigma or negative assessment to schizophrenic families, while for the nursing profession it is expected to provide education to families about how to prevent schizophrenia recurrence and how to care for schizophrenic sufferers. .
