Abstract

ABSTRAK
Kritik masyarakat merupakan salah satu bentuk komunikasi dalam
masyarakat yang bertujuan atau berfungsi sebagai kontrol terhadap jalannya sebuah
sistem sosial atau proses bermasyarakat dan kritik sosial merupakan salah satu
variabel penting dalam memelihara sistem sosial. Kritik sosial muncul ketika terjadi
ketidakpuasan seseorang terhadap realitas kehidupan yang dinilai tidak selaras.
Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui kritik masyarakat terhadap adanya
pembanguan pedestrian (face off) Jalan Hos Cokroaminoto, Jalan Jendral Sudirman,
Jalan Urip Sumoharjo Kab. Ponorogo Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini
adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan analisis konten (Content
Analysis).Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah gambar, keterangan
gambar (caption) dan kolom komentar kritik masyarakat Kesimpulan dari
penelitian ini adalah (1) masyarakat Ponorogo setuju atas pembangunan Face off
jalan tersebut. Karena efek dari pembangunan Face off tersebut mejadikan lebih
tertata, indah, dan meningkatkan daya tarik wisatawan sehingga berdampak pada
para pelaku UMKM menjadi lebih maju. (2) Masyarakat Ponorogo juga belum
sepenuhnya setuju dan terima atas pembangunan Face off jalan tersebut. Karena
masyarakat Ponorogo masih banyak yang mengeluh terhadap pembangunan Face
off tersebut. (3) Masyarakat Ponorogo meminta untuk mengutamakan membenahi
jalan – jalanan yang butuh perawatan lagi. (4) masyarakat Ponorogo mengeluh
dengan pemberlakuan satu jalur. Dan dibuatkannya trotoar yang lebar dan belum
adanya tempat parkir khusus, maka jalan tersebut menjadi sempit dan bisa jadi
membuat kemacetan.

ABSTRAC
Community criticism is one form of communication in society that aims or functions
as a control over the course of a social system or social process and social criticism
is one of the important variables in maintaining the social system. Social criticism
arises when someone is dissatisfied with the reality of life that is considered
inconsistent. This research is intended to find out public criticism of the
development of land use change (face off) Jalan Hos Cokroaminoto, Jalan Jendral
Sudirman, Jalan Urip Sumoharjo Kab. Ponorogo The method used in this research
is qualitative using content analysis approach. The data used in this study are
pictures, captions and comments for community criticism. The conclusions of this
study are (1) the people of Ponorogo agree on the construction of Face off the road.
Because the effects of the Face off development make it more organized, beautiful,
and increase tourist attraction so that it has an impact on MSME actors to be more
advanced. (2) The people of Ponorogo also have not fully agreed and accepted the
construction of the Face off road. Because there are still many people in Ponorogo
who complain about the Face off development. (3) The people of Ponorogo ask to
prioritize repairing roads that need more maintenance. (4) the people of Ponorogo
complained about the implementation of one lane. And the wide sidewalks are made
and there is no special parking space, so the road becomes narrow and can create
traffic jams.
