(2022) The Efforts of Tahfidz Supporting Teachers in Improving Santri's Memorizing Qur'anic Memories Through the Tasmi 'Method at the Tahfidzul Qur'an Ainul Mardhiyyah Islamic Boarding School. Tajab, M.A. Keywords: Teacher, Tahfidz, Tasmi' Method The Qur'an is a book that is used as a guide in the life of this world and the hereafter. Seeing the era that continues to develop and technology that is increasingly sophisticated, all people, both young and old, become hypnotized by the sophistication of technology. So that this becomes a big challenge for tahfidz teachers in improving students’ memory. One of them uses the Tasmi' method. Tasmi' means to hear. Meanwhile, according to the term, Tasmi is reciting memorized verses to others, both to individuals and in front of many people. This study has a purpose (1) to determine the implementation of the tasmi' method in improving the Qur'an of students at the Tahfidzul Qur'an Ainul Mardhiyyah Islamic Boarding School. (2) to find out the results of the implementation of the tasmi' method in increasing the Qur'an of students at the Tahfidzul Qur'an Ainul Mardhiyyah Islamic Boarding School. (3) knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the tasmi' method in improving the Qur'an of students at the Tahfidzul Qur'an Ainul Mardhiyyah Islamic Boarding School. This research uses field research with a qualitative approach. This research was conducted at the Tahfidzul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School Ainul Mardhiyyah Jetis Ponorogo in the period January - May 2022. The data collection techniques in this study were obtained through observation, interviews and documentation with resource persons. The data analysis technique was carried out using the Miles and Huberman model which included: data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the research that the authors obtained can be concluded as follows: (1) the implementation of tasmi' in improving the Qur'an of students is carried out in three stages, namely deposits to tahfidz teachers, deposits from fellow friends (partners), and tasmi' at large association. (2) the result of the implementation of the tasmi' method is that students are able to improve their memorization of the Qur'an. Giving pride to parents, ustadz/ustadzah and the surrounding community and making students more confident in reciting the qur'an. (3) the supporting factors in the implementation of tasmi' are intentions and prayers, parental support, self-motivation, clerics and friends, motivation, and adequate facilities. While the inhibiting factors are laziness, lack of time sharing, lack of preparation, and lack of prayer.
