Abstract

Suprayitno, 2022: The Relationship Between Burnout and Mental Emotional Disorders in Nurses on duty in the Covid 19 Isolation Unit in the Muzdalifah room of 'Aisyiyah Ponorogo General Hospital. Background: The coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic has an impact on health workers who treat patients, in relation to the Covid-19 outbreak, nurses can experience burnout due to work fatigue and prolonged stress in handling the pandemic. Nurses who experience burnout can experience anxiety. Anxiety itself is part of an emotional mental disorder. If this is allowed, it will result in the emergence of negative behavior at work, namely emotional mental disorders. Methods: The data analysis used in this study is the product moment person correlation method with the help of a computer program for statistical analysis, namely SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) version 22.0 for Windows. Respondents in this study involved 37 respondents with permanent and contract employee status. Purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship between burnout and mental emotional disorders in nurses who work in the Covid-19 isolation unit. The results of the analysis: the burnout level of 37 respondents showed the highest level of burnout was at the moderate level of 25 respondents (67.56%). Meanwhile, the highest level of emotional mental disorder was in nurses who experienced emotional mental disorders as many as 30 respondents (81.08%). The correlation coefficient data between burnout and mental emotional disorders is showing the value of p = 0.001 (p <0.05). This shows that there is. The relationship between burnout and mental emotional disorders in nurses who work in the COVID-19 isolation unit.
