Abstract
Journalistic photography on the Ponorogo Radar and Ponorogo Memo “Demo Save Reyog” edition provides information about the demonstration to protect reyog that took place in front of the Paseban Alun-Alun, Ponorogo Regency. This demo involved Ponorogo reyog artists from all sub-districts in Ponorogo Regency. The demonstration took place because of the Ponorogo reyog art which was reportedly claimed by another country and to urge the Ministry of Education and Culture to immediately register the reyog art as an intangible cultural heritage to UNESCO from Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to find out how or techniques in taking journalistic photography when a demo save reyog occurs in front of Paseban Alun-Alun, Ponorogo Regency with EDFAT method analysis (Entire, Detail, Frame, Angel, Time). The right momentum and the right light intensity make photos look clear. As well as providing an interpretation of the meaning of each journalistic photography in Radar Ponorogo and Memo Ponorogo. The results of the analysis that has been carried out on the photojournalism, concluded that the journalistic photography depicts the love of the Ponorogo people for the art of reyog to always maintain and preserve.
