Abstract
ABSTRAK Perkembangan teknologi yang cepat pada era global saat ini berdampak positif dan negatif. Hal ini tergantung dari manusia menggunakan dan memanfaatkannya. seperti media sosial yang semakin canggih dalam hal ini Facebook, Whats App, Twitter, Instagram, Line dan lain sebagainya yang mampu menghubungkan manusia tanpa batasan jarak dan waktu. Sehingga dapat bertukar informasi dengan cepat. Hal ini juga mempunyai dampak yang negatif, dimana informasi yang tersebar kadang berupa informasi hoax atau bohong. Terkadang juga informasi tersebut dilebih-lebihkan dengan artian adanya fitnah sehingga tercemarnya nama baik dan hilangnya kepercayaan terhadap informasi yang tersebar. Kabupaten Ponorogo tidak luput juga dari informasi bohong (hoax). Seperti beredarnyai nformasi kesenian reog Ponorogo kembali di klaim Malaysia, sehingga berita tersebut membuat masyarakat Ponorogo resah. Bahkan memunculkan sejumlah aksi dari para seniman reog Ponorogo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, yaitu jenis pendekatan dalam ilmu pengetahuan sosial yang secara fundamental bergantung dari pengamatan pada manusia baik dalam kawasannya maupun dalam peristilahannya (Moleong, 2016: 4). Dari hasil analisis data didapati bahwa strategi yang diterapkan sudah efektif dengan melakukan berapa metode dalam penanggulangannya. Seperti halnya edukasi kepada watawan, mahasiswa dan masyrakat. Selain itu, Diskominfo Ponorogo bekerja sama dengan Indonesia Indikator dan menggunakan sistem IMM (Intelejent Media Management) dan mitigasi isu negatif. Adanya beberapa program yang memang ditujukan untuk memerangi Informasi hoax seperti Kelompok Jabatan Fungsional, Kelompok Informasi Masyarakat (KIM), dan Humas Reaksi Cepat. Akan tetapi hal tersebut masih belum cukup karena belum mampu mencegah penyebaran Informasi hoax secara menyeluruh. Pencegahan informasi hoax belum terealisasikan dengan baik, dikarenakan dalam penerapan strategi komunikasi Diskominfo Ponorogo tidak sepenuhnya terlaksanaFaktor penghambat dalam pencegahan penyebaran informasi hoax karena adanya kemudahan dalam menyebarkan informasi dan kemudahan dalam membuat situs Web. Kemudiann masyarakat mampu menggunakan media sosial tanpa identitas yang jelas sehingga bebes menyebarkan informasi tanpa ragu.. Kata Kunci: Strategi Komunikasi, Pencegahan Informasi Hoax, Media Sosial ABSTRACT The rapid development of technology in the current global era has an impact positive and negative. This depends on humans using and utilizing it. such as increasingly sophisticated social media, in this case Facebook, Whats App, Twitter, Instagram, Line and so on, which are able to connect humans without distance and time limitations. So that information can be exchanged quickly. This also has a negative impact, where the information that is spread is sometimes in the form of hoax or false information. Sometimes the information is exaggerated in the sense that there is slander so that the reputation is tarnished and the loss of trust in the information that is spread. Ponorogo Regency is also not immune from false information (hoax). Like the circulation of information on the art of Reog Ponorogo, claims by Malaysia are back, so this news makes the people of Ponorogo uneasy. It even gave rise to a number of actions by Reog Ponorogo artists. This study uses a qualitative approach, which is a type of approach in social science that fundamentally depends on human observations both in its area and in terms (Moleong, 2016: 4). From the results of data analysis it was found that the strategy applied was effective by using several methods to overcome it. As well as education for journalists, students and the community. Apart from that, Diskominfo Ponorogo works closely with Indonesia Indicators and uses the IMM (Intelejent Media Management) system and mitigates negative issues. There are several programs that are intended to combat hoax information such as the Functional Position Group, Community Information Group (KIM), and Rapid Reaction Public Relations. However, this is still not enough because it has not been able to prevent the spread of hoax information as a whole. Prevention of hoax information has not been realized properly, because in the implementation of Diskominfo Ponorogo's communication strategy is not complete implemented Inhibiting factors in preventing the spread of hoax information because there is ease in disseminating information and ease in creating Web sites. Then people are able to use social media without a clear identity so they are free to spread information without hesitation.
