Abstract
ANC is something that must be considered and obeyed by pregnant women. Pregnant women are said to be ANC compliant if they visit at least 6 times (1 time trimester 1, 2 times trimester 2 and 3 times trimester 3) and at least 2 times examined by a specialist doctor (SpOG). The purpose of this study was to analyze the compliance of pregnant women and find out the factors related to the compliance of pregnant women in ANC visits. The method used is cross sectional with purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 30 respondents of pregnant women in the 3rd trimester. This study used questionnaire instruments and MCH book documentation. Univariate data analysis using frequency and percentage tables, and bivariately using Fisher’s Exact Test with SPSS. The results showed that 97% of pregnant women (29 people) in the working area of the North Ponorogo Public Health Center had complied with ANC visits to midwives and doctors. The results of data analysis showed the p-value of each independent variable, namely age (p-value 0.300), education (p-value 0.067), employment (p-value 1.000) and parity (p-value1.000) with a value of α=0.05. This means age, education, employment and parity are not related to the compliance of pregnant women during an ANC visit at the North Ponorogo Public Health Centre. Other factors found in the field that affect the compliance of pregnant women in conducting ANC visits are the support of husbands and families, the presence of comorbidities and having problems / disorders during pregnancy, easy access to healthcare, high awareness and knowledge of pregnant women. This research is expected to be an illustration of PHC that the awareness of pregnant women in ANC visits is high and PHC can improve the quality of ANC services in order to meet the coverage target.
