Abstract

Della Futvy Sekarnigrum. The Influence of the Learning Model of the Global Citizen Project on the Civic Virtue of SMAN 1 Babadan Students. Thesis. Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo. Advisor 1 Dr. Sutrisno, S.Pd., M.P.d., Supervisor 2 Ambiro Puji Asmaroini, M. Pd This study aims to determine the effect of the global citizen project model on the civic virtue of SMA Negeri 1 Babadan students. This study uses an associative quantitative approach using pre-experimental designs with the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research method conducted on one experimental group without a control group. This study uses primary data which collects data using pre-test and post-test, questionnaires, and documentation. In this study, researchers used parried sample T test analysis, simple linear regression and analysis of the coefficient of determination by looking at the statistical research requirements test. The population in this study were all class X students of SMAN 1 Babadan with a sample of 32 respondents in the experimental class. The results obtained using the parried sample T test and partial t test at a significance level of 0.05 indicate that the global citizen project learning model has a positive and significant effect on the civic virtue of Babadan 1 Public High School students. The results of the coefficient of determination show the ability of the global citizen project (X) to explain civic virtue (Y) values of 76.7% and the remaining 23.3% is explained by the influence of other variables not examined by the author. The implications of the results of this study indicate that learning using a systematic model will affect the characteristics of students, so this needs to be considered by the teacher when implementing learning in the classroom so that learning objectives are achieved by paying attention to the influence on student characteristics.
