Abstract

Ponorogo Regency, which is rich in traditional culture and art, reflects its local identity. Reyog Ponorogo art is in the spotlight at local, national and international levels, as part of the national cultural heritage. This research explores the efforts of the Ponorogo Regency Tourism Office in increasing the resilience of Reyog craftsmen. The research used a qualitative approach at the Ponorogo Regency Tourism Office. Data collection includes observation, interviews, and documentation, with data analysis using data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show the involvement of the Ponorogo Government in promoting and increasing the resilience of Reyog craftsmen. These efforts include local exhibitions, international promotions, and collaboration with the PKK. The government provides support, including in obtaining business permits, as well as building solid relationships between craftsmen. Even though the COVID-19 pandemic has had a negative impact, the Ponorogo Government is providing innovation or overcoming it quickly through social media to promote Reyog craft products. Regeneration is an important focus, involving the younger generation in Reyog production. Networking or collaboration with other regions is carried out to expand the market. In conclusion, the Ponorogo Regency Government has succeeded in implementing various strategies for preserving Reyog craftsmen, which include promotion, supporting poverty, and regeneration through the participation of the younger generation. .
