Abstract
ABSTRACT Ma'rifah M. Implementation of the Storytelling Method to Develop the Vocabulary of Deaf Children with Special Needs in the PAS Baitul Qur'an Ngabar Siman Ponorogo Inclusive Kindergarten. Thesis. Early Childhood Education Teacher Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University Ponorogo. Supervisor 1 Ida Yeni Rahmawati, M.Pd. Mentor. 2 Nurtina Irsad Rusdiani, M.Pd The objectives of this research are: 1) Describe the learning planning for additional vocabulary for children with special needs (deaf). 2) Describe the implementation of learning using the storytelling method for children with special needs (deaf). 3) Describe the results of learning the storytelling method for children with special needs (deaf) at the PAS Baitul Qur'an Ngabar Inclusion Kindergarten. This research is descriptive qualitative research that provides actual information and data in the field. The research design uses the development procedure from Miles and Hubermen. The research was carried out using source triangulation techniques with the research subjects being early childhood children in Kindergarten B class who were deaf at the PAS Baitul Qur'an Ngabar Inclusion Kindergarten. The data collection methods are observation, interviews and documentation. The research instrument is an interview guide for teachers and school principals. The results of interviews and observations were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of this research are: 1) learning planning using the storytelling method is arranged in a learning tool in the form of a RPPH, 2) implementation of learning using the storytelling method refers to the RPPH which has been prepared and adapted to the child's abilities, 3) the storytelling method can develop vocabulary in the kindergarten class B deaf PAS Baitul Qur'an Ngabar Inclusion Kindergarten.
