Abstract
Health services are services that are expected of everyone because they are related to a person's body. Hospitals are a way that is always used to take action to prevent unwanted things from happening. Muhammadiyah Ponorogo General Hospital is a hospital that has good health services in terms of handling patients who are seeking treatment at this hospital. The services provided prioritize patient safety. With fast and careful handling, this service continues to improve every year. The information system provided is also accurate which will affect all technical aspects in the field. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach that examines relevant work practices. The population was taken from employees of the Muhammadiyah Ponorogo General Hospital with samples referring to the population. Data collection through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this research are to determine the role of the management information system in the Muhammadiyah Ponorogo General Hospital. In its role, this hospital has implemented and used services that are in accordance with today's times, namely you can register online, BPJS services are done with a scan, you can queue for medicine by sitting at home. So in this research, the Muhammadiyah Ponorogo General Hospital really places great importance on its services to patients to make treatment easier.
