Abstract
Employees are one of the important parts of an agency. The success of an agency in carrying out its functions depends on the performance of the employees who run the agency. One of the means that can be used to motivate employees in carrying out their duties is through the selection of the best employees. The Population and Civil Registration Service of Magetan Regency is one of the government agencies that carries out the selection of the best employees, carried out once a month based on 6 assessment elements stated in the Decree of the Head of Service Number 188/10/Kept/403.111/2022 concerning the Formation of an Assessment Team and Mechanism for Granting Rewards and Punishments. The 6 elements include 1) Employee discipline, 2) SKP value, 3) Attitude and behavior in carrying out duties, 4) Cooperation, 5) Creativity in work, 6) Appearance. However, the procedure used still uses manual measurement, making it difficult to obtain accurate and fair results when the measurement is carried out on 6 assessment elements with approximately 40 alternative employees. To overcome this problem, the author in this study will apply the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method by building a web-based system using the Django Web Framework so that the best employee assessment system is created that is accurate and fair.
