Abstract

ABSTRACT Yufrida, Yushfa, 2024. Implementation of Pesantren-Based Schools in Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile at MIN 7 Ponorogo. Thesis S1 Study Program of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education. Supervisor (1) Dr. Ayok Ariyanto, M.Pd.I and Supervisor (II) Azid Syukroni, M.Pd.I. Keywords : Islamic Religious Education, Character, Student Profile Pancasila In essence, an education has the nature to channel a person's understanding and be able to foster and educate how a person should act and behave properly in accordance with applicable norms. This research aims to find out: (1) The concept of Islamic Religious Education at MIN 7 Ponorogo; (2) the process of implementing it in students which includes how the initial planning is, how it is implemented at school and how it is evaluated in students; and (3) how the results after implementing Islamic Religious Education in strengthening students' Pancasila student profiles. This research is qualitative research with the type of field study (field research) with data collection techniques using in-depth interview methods, participatory observation and documentation. While the data analysis techniques used in the research are data condensation, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that; (1) the concept of Islamic Religious Education at MIN 7 Ponorogo is contained in the vision and mission of the Islamic content school, MIN 7 Ponorogo also combines old concepts related to new, better concepts and combines the school social system and the pesantren system that has been running for decades. (2) Initial planning is the opinion of stakeholders and current needs, then the implementation of MIN 7 Ponorogo realizes the Islamic Religious Education program into various activities which include habituation, tahfidz class programs and P5 lessons, and evaluation through observation, daily tests, PTS, and PAT. The dimensions that have increased maximally are the dimensions of faith, fear of God Almighty and noble character, independence, creativity, mutual cooperation. While the dimensions that need to be strengthened are the dimensions of global diversity and critical reasoning. Although the results seen have not been superior as a whole, the teacher's efforts in strengthening the profile of Pancasila students through the Islamic religious education program can be considered effective and efficient.
