Abstract

This study aims to discuss the impact of contextual factors on student entrepreneurship intentions and to determine the entrepreneurial intentions of participants of Business Orientation of Super Suro (BOSS), an entrepreneurial competition activity held to sharpen the entrepreneurship mental of students, in which the information obtained will be beneficial for the evaluation and to better the determination of the next BOSS implementation strategy. The object and the population of this research is the students of S1 Management Department Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo participating in BOSS 2019. This study uses a quantitative method. Contextual factors were chosen in this study, as one of the factors considered important in influencing student entrepreneurial intentions. The data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) application with the Partial Least Square (PLS) program. The results of this research note that contextual factors have a positive impact on the entrepreneurial intentions of BOSS students.
