The Influence of Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) and Learning Interests on Student Learning Outcomes in PAI Subjects Prayer Material Class VII at Junior High School 1 Sambit Ponorogo Regency Academic Year 2022/2023. To achieve optimal learning results, it must refer to contextual learning that fosters students' interest in learning in creating natural learning experiences and allows them to directly practice in everyday life with clear determination, essence and belief. This research aims to 1) determine and analyze the influence of contextual teaching learning (CTL) on student learning outcomes in PAI prayer material subjects at SMPN 1 Sambit Kab. Ponorogo; 2) explain and analyze the influence of interest in learning on student learning outcomes in PAI prayer material subjects at SMPN 1 Sambit Kab. Ponorogo; 3) describe and analyze contextual teaching learning (CTL) and student interest in learning towards student learning outcomes in PAI prayer material subjects at SMPN 1 Sambit Kab. Ponorogo.
This research is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The population in this study were class VII students of SMPN 1 Sambit Kab. Ponorogo, totaling 102 students using simple random sampling technique and obtained a sample of 52 students. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, the Likert scale is used to determine data collection instruments. Data analysis techniques use regression equations, regression significance tests, and regression linearity tests.
The findings of this research are that CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) learning has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of Class VII students in the Islamic Religious Education subject matter of prayer at SMPN 1 Sambit, interest in learning has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of Class VII students in the Islamic Religious Education subject matter prayer at SMPN 1 Sambit. There is an influence of the learning variables Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) and Interest in learning of 71.7% on the learning outcomes variable for Class VII Mapel PAI students on prayer material, while the other 28.3% can be explained by other variables outside the model.
