This study examines the Rawat Jagat event held in Pacitan Regency, with a focus on promoting local culture and increasing public awareness of environmental issues. This research aims to find out the event management strategy carried out by the Kangen Pacitan Consortium as the organizing committee. The theory used in this study is the concept of event management put forward by Goldblatt which states that there are five stages in event management, namely research, design, planning, coordination and evaluating. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of descriptive research, using data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that the Kangen Pacitan Consortium as the organizing committee has carried out all stages of event management starting from the research stage to the evaluation stage in sequence. However, the researcher also identified that at the design, planning and coordination stages have not been carried out perfectly, such as ineffective coordination between the committee and presenters, incomplete publicity and inefficient stage layout. Suggestions for future improvements include improving communication, optimizing the stages of event management, and organizing events regularly. The results of this research are expected to provide insights for the development of similar events in the future and contribute to cultural and environmental preservation in Pacitan Regency.
