Febia Mufidatul Lathifah A’la. Peran Guru Terhadap Motivasi Menghafal Al-Qur’an
Siswa di RA Tahfizh Al Furqon Ponrogo. Skripsi. Program Studi Pendidikan Guru

Guru memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam membangkitkan motivasi
belajar anak usia dini. Guru menerapkan strategi yang menarik agar anak-anak merasa
senang dan terdorong untuk belajar. Sedikitnya minat anak usia dini dalam menghafal
Al-Qur’an dilatar belakangi oleh perasaan tidak mampu siswa sehingga siswa tidak
memilikki semangat dalam menghafal Al-Qur’an. Selain itu kurangnya penguasaan
tajwid dan makharijul huruf serta kelancaran siswa dalam membaca Al-Qur’an juga
menjadi factor kurangnya motivasi siswa dalam menghafal Al-Qur’an. Tujuan dari
penelitian ini adalah untuk : (1) Mendeskripsikan peran guru terhadap motivasi
menghafal siswa di RA Tahfizh Al Furqon Ponorogo, (2) Mendeskripsikan faktor
pendukung dan penghambat peran guru terhadap motivasi menghafal siswa di RA
Tahfizh Al Furqon Ponorogo. Jenis dari penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode
deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dari penelitian ini dilakukan melalui observasi,
wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sementara teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini
mencakup pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan
dan verifikasi.
Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu : (1) Peran guru terhadap motivasi menghafal siswa
meliputi : (a) Guru sebagai suri tauladan yang baik bagi siswa (Role Model), (b) Guru
sebagai penyedia dan pengelola lingkungan belajar yang nyaman dan kondusif, serta
(c) Guru sebagai pemberi motivasi bagi siswa (motivator). (2) Faktor pendukung peran
guru terhadap motivasi menghafal Al-Qur’an siswa meliputi kehadiran guru yang
konsisten dan memotivasi, kualitas dan kredibilatas yang dimiliki guru sebgai guru
tahfidz sangat mendukung berjalannya program tahfidz pada anak usia dini, dan
disiplin guru saat mengajar dkelas. Sementara faktor yang penghambat peran guru
dalam memberi motivasi kepada siswa adalah suasana kelas yang terkadang bising
dikarenakan siswa bermain sendiri atau berbicara dengan temannya. Namun hal ini
dapat di hadapi oleh guru dengan nasehat yang lembut dan peringatan yang edukatif
seperti mengajak siswa untuk murojaah bersama.
Selain peran guru dalam memberi motivasi kepada siswa dalam menghafal AlQur’an, diperlukan kerjasama dengan keluarg dan lingkungan sekitar agar
pembelajaran tahfidz berjalan sebagaimana mestinya dan siswa dapat mencapai target
yang telah di tentukan.

Memorize the Quran at RA Tahfizh Al Furqon Ponrogo. Thesis. Early Childhood

Teachers play a crucial role in motivating young children to learn. Teachers
employ engaging strategies to encourage and motivate children to learn. The lack of
interest among young children in memorizing the Quran stems from feelings of
inadequacy, which leads to a lack of enthusiasm for memorizing the Quran.
Furthermore, students' lack of mastery of tajweed and makharijul huruf (letter
pronunciation) and fluency in reading the Quran also contribute to their lack of
motivation to memorize the Quran. The purpose of this study is to: (1) Describe the
role of teachers in students' memorization motivation at RA Tahfizh Al Furqon
Ponorogo, (2) Describe the supporting and inhibiting factors of the role of teachers in
students' memorization motivation at RA Tahfizh Al Furqon Ponorogo. This type of
research is qualitative with descriptive methods. Data collection from this study was
carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, data
analysis techniques in this study include data collection, data reduction, data
presentation, as well as drawing conclusions and verification.
The results of this study are: (1) The role of teachers in students' memorization
motivation includes: (a) Teachers as good role models for students (Role Models), (b)
Teachers as providers and managers of a comfortable and conducive learning
environment, and (c) Teachers as motivators for students (motivators). (2) Supporting
factors in the teacher's role in motivating students to memorize the Quran include the
teacher's consistent and motivating presence, the teacher's quality and credibility as a
tahfidz teacher, which strongly supports the implementation of the tahfidz program for
early childhood, and teacher discipline during class. Meanwhile, a factor inhibiting the
teacher's role in motivating students is the sometimes noisy classroom atmosphere
caused by students playing alone or talking with friends. However, teachers can address
this with gentle advice and educational reminders, such as inviting students to
participate in group recitation.
In addition to the teacher's role in motivating students to memorize the Quran,
collaboration with the family and surrounding community is necessary to ensure that
tahfidz learning proceeds as intended and students can achieve their predetermined
targets.
