One of the main parts of character education is discipline. Discipline has an important role in forming individuals who are responsible, organized, and able to face life's challenges. The aim of this research is to: (1) Describe the implementation of disciplined character education through scout extracurricular activities. (2) Describe the inhibiting and supporting factors in implementing disciplined character education for grade X students through extracurricular scout activities at SMAN 1 Sambit. The method of this research is descriptive qualitative. The location of this research is SMAN 1 Sambit Ponorogo. The subjects of this research were grade X students of SMAN 1 Sambit, consisting of 57 people, scoutmaster consisting of 6 people and the scout council Consisting of 5 people. This data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this research include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, as well as drawing conclusions and verification.

The results of this research are: (1) Implementation of character education for grade X students' discipline through extracurricular scouting activities at SMAN 1 Sambit is implemented through clear and firm rules and activity-based training. (2) Inhibiting factors for the implementation of character education for disciplinary grade X students through extracurricular scouting activities at SMAN 1 Sambit are that not all students are interested in participating in scouting activities, low student motivation, and different student characters. Supporting factors for the implementation of character education for grade X students' discipline through extracurricular scouting activities at SMAN 1 Sambit include routine training, programmed exams and inauguration of Bantara and Laksamana, holding a camping ground, exploration and infrastructure in the form of a large yard that is sufficient for camping activities.
