This study aims to: (1) Analyze the application of environmental care character through the Green and Clean program at MTsN 6 Madiun. (2)Describe the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the Green and Clean program.This research uses a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.
The results showed that: (1) The application of environmental care character through the Green and Clean program at MTsN 6 Madiun is supported by four excellent programs that play a role in shaping students' awareness and habits in protecting the environment including, waste management through the provision of sorted garbage cans, energy saving programs, construction and maintenance of green parks, and the habit of using non-plastic materials. (2) Supporting factors for success include clear policies, adequate budgets, supportive facilities, and cooperation with external parties. However, there are obstacles such as the lack of awareness of some.
