This thesis is entitled Citizen Journalism Participation in Sosial Media Instagram @medhioen.ae as an Information Media. Citizen Journalism often participates in conveying information on social media. This is similar to Citize Journalism on social media instagram @medhioen.ae, they post event that occur around the environment to social media instagram @medhioen.aein order to inform the public. The problem of this recearch is Citizen Journalism Participation in Sosial Media Instagram @medhioen.ae as an Information Media medium descriptive, date collection methods using observation, interviews and documantation. The result of this recearh show that Citizen Journalism Prticipation on Social Media Instagram @medhioen.ae is in accordance with the theory of participatory journalism by (Shayne Bowman and Chris Willis) where Citizen Journalism plays the role of producing information becaouse the public is not only a passive consumer but also actively participates in in producing and disseminating information in the surrounding evironmant via social media instagram @medhioen.ae.
