APPLICATION OF WARM COMPRESS IN CHILD FEVER CONVULSION PATIENTS WITH HYPERTHERMI NURSING PROBLEMS
( Study Case in Space Ar-Fahrudin Muhammadiyah General Hospital (Ponorogo )

Seizures fever is abnormality the most common neurological happen on child . If child often seizures , will the more Lots cell brain damaged And have risk cause development , mental retardation , paralysis And can develop become epileptic. Some big case seizure fever relate with condition fever high ( temperature) body >38.8 o C) which is caused by by a number of disease like infection And inflammation as well as immunization . Thus , it gives rise to problem nursing that is hyperthermia . Study case This aiming For do care nursing on patient Seizures Fever with Hyperthermia .
In studies case This care nursing done at An. N with diagnosis KDS medical ( Seizures) Fever Simple ) in Space Ar-Fahrudin Muhammadiyah General Hospital Ponorogo for 5 days on October 18 , 2024 – October 22 , 2024. The method used is with nursing process approach .
Results assessment obtained that patient experience fever since 3 days , seizures for 2 minutes , temperature body 39.9 o C , frequency breathing 24 x/ minute , pulse pulse 135 x/ minute , skin palpable hot , and face looks redness . Action nursing care that is carried out For overcome problem the that is giving compress warm For lower fever on child . Results implementation show that there is change temperature more body Good proven with temperature body in normal range 36.5 o C , and pulse normal pulse : 88 x/ minute , skin palpable No warm And Also No too cold , reddish skin decreased , and mucosa lips moist .
Care nursing on patient Seizures Fever with problem hyperthermia expected can become description for nurse specifically in Handling fever on patient with giving compress warm For lower temperature body And prevent the occurrence seizure repetitive .
