Application of Classical Music Therapy (Mozart) in Post-Op Radius Ulna Fracture Patients with Acute Pain Nursing Problems
(Case Study in Yudistira Room RSUD dr. Sayidiman Magetan)

Fracture is a break or damage to the continuity of bone tissue caused by external pressure greater than the bone can absorb. One of the therapeutic pain management is non-pharmacological techniques with classical Mozart music therapy.
Nursing care for patient An.R. was carried out in the Yudistira Room of Dr. Sayidiman Hospital, Magetan for 8 days starting from February 4-11, 2025. The results of the assessment showed that the patient experienced acute pain related to physical injury agents, the effects of invasive procedures. The interventions carried out were pain assessment, identification of location, characteristics, duration, frequency, quality, intensity of pain, and non-pharmacological therapy by listening to classical Mozart music therapy.
After implementation, the pain felt by the patient is increasingly reduced from moderate pain (scale 6) to no pain (scale 0). Collaboration of pharmacological therapy with classical Mozart music therapy will be more effective in reducing the level of pain felt by patients.
Nursing care for An.R patients with acute pain is expected to be a picture for nurses, especially in handling patients who experience acute pain with classical Mozart music therapy.
