Abstract

The management of Ngiroboyo Beach in Sendang Village, Donorojo District, Pacitan Regency, has gonethrough various stages of development since 2016. Initially managed by Karang Taruna Desa,management was transferred to the Subur Makmur Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) in 2019. This
BUMDes developed Ngiroboyo Beach with the aim of improving the village economy through tourism.The strategic steps taken include improving infrastructure such as roads, public toilets, and food stalls,as well as active promotion through social media. In addition, community involvement in tourism
activities, such as providing homestays and guide services, also encourages local communityparticipation and income. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach to explore the application
of Good Governance principles in the management of NgiroboyoBeach and identify the relationships
between actors involved in the management of this tourist area. The principles of Good Governance arerealized through transparency, accountability, community participation, and cooperation between sectors.
BUMDes Subur Makmur has succeeded in managing this tourist destination sustainably by involving thevillage government as a regulator, BUMDes as an operator, and the local community as the main a ctorsin environmental management and preservation. The research results show that strong collaboration between actors is the key to successful management. Village government, BUMDes, and local
communities play complementary roles, from strategic decision-making, tourism management operations, to environmental conservation. This study highlights the importance of innovation and adaptation to developments in the era, such as the use of information technology, in supporting management effectiveness. The success of Ngiroboyo Beach shows that by implementing the principles
of Good Governance, village-based tourism management can be a driving force for sustainable
economic development
