Injury is a common risk in volleyball that can interfere with an athlete's performance. The PRICE method (Protection, Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) is an effective first aid approach to reduce the impact of injuries and accelerate recovery. This study aims to determine the effect of health education through PRICE method simulation on improving injury management knowledge among members of the Volleyball Student Activity Unit (UKM) at Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo.
The study employed a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest- posttest approach. A total of 36 respondents were selected using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with a significance level of <0.05. The results showed that before the intervention, 61.1% of respondents had low knowledge. After the intervention, 91.7% had good knowledge.
The Wilcoxon test showed a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant effect. These findings align with Rogers' theory, which outlines behavior change through five stages: awareness, interest, evaluation, trial, and adoption. In this context, health education through simulation helps facilitate behavioral and knowledge change, enabling individuals to manage sports injuries independently and appropriately. Keywords: Health Education (simulation), PRICE method, injury management knowledge
