HUBUNGAN SELF EFFICACY TERHADAP
KUALITAS HIDUP PADA PENDERITA
HIPERTENSI

Hipertensi adalah kondisi kronis dengan tekanan darah tinggi yang memerlukan penanganan jangka panjang. Jika tidak dikelola, dapat menyebabkan komplikasi serius dan menurunkan kualitas hidup. Salah satu faktor psikologis yang memengaruhi pengelolaan hipertensi adalah efikasi diri, yaitu keyakinan individu dalam mengelola kesehatan.
Penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan antara efikasi diri dan kualitas hidup pasien hipertensi di Puskesmas Karangrejo, Magetan. Desain penelitian adalah potong lintang dengan 89 responden hipertensi yang dipilih melalui total sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner efikasi diri dan WHOQOL BREF yang dimodifikasi, lalu dianalisis dengan uji Spearman rho (p < 0,05).
Hasil menunjukkan 86,5% responden memiliki efikasi diri tinggi dan 89,9% kualitas hidup tinggi. Uji Spearman menunjukkan hubungan kuat dan signifikan antara efikasi diri dan kualitas hidup (r = 0,741, p = 0,000). Kesimpulannya, efikasi diri berpengaruh kuat terhadap kualitas hidup pasien hipertensi, sehingga peningkatannya perlu dipertimbangkan dalam program edukasi kesehatan.
