NURSING CARE FOR MOTHERS POST SECTIO CAESAREA WITH
NURSING PROBLEMS OF PHYSICAL MOBILITY DISORDERS
(Case Study at Darmayu Ponorogo Hospital Melati Room)

Sectio caesarea is a surgical procedure that aims to remove the baby through an incision on the front wall of the uterus. This action affects the mother's activities. Physical mobility disorders are limitations in performing movements of one or more extremities independently. This case study aims to provide nursing care to post sectio caesarea mothers with nursing problems of physical mobility disorders.
This nursing care was carried out on Mrs. E with nursing problems of physical mobility disorders carried out in the Melati Room of Darmayu Ponorogo Hospital on April 10-12, 2025. The method used is the nursing process.
The results of the assessment found that the client had impaired physical mobility characterized by difficulty in moving the pain of surgery. Nursing actions taken to overcome these problems are by providing mobilization exercises, joint movement exercises and teaching deep breath relaxation techniques. The evaluation results showed that physical mobility disorders were resolved.
This nursing care is expected to be an illustration for nurses in handling post sectio caesarea mothers with physical mobility disorders through the action of providing mobilization exercises, joint movement exercises and teaching deep breath relaxation techniques in order to accelerate recovery.
