Abstract
Poorly managed patient queues are a frequent problem in healthcare facilities, including the Ngabar Clinic in Ponorogo. The manual registration process leads to queue buildup, long waiting times, and difficulties in handling priority patients such as the elderly, toddlers, and emergency patients. This study proposes a technology-based solution by developing an online queue system that integrates the Round Robin algorithm for service time allocation and Priority Scheduling to prioritize priority patients. The system development method uses Rapid Application Development (RAD) to accelerate the design process, complemented by white box testing to validate the program logic. Implementation results show that the system successfully reduces waiting times, increases service efficiency, and enables real-time queue monitoring by patients. Algorithm performance testing proves a processing speed of 0.03 ms/selection with high consistency in handling more than 50 queues. The study concludes that this system is effective in optimizing clinic queue management while increasing patient satisfaction. For further development, it is recommended to add digital notifications, dynamic priority parameters, and system load testing to ensure scalability.
