This study aims to analyze the influence of job market considerations and the work environment on students' interest in
becoming accountants, with a focus on undergraduate students in Accounting at Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo,
batch 2021/2022 and 2022/2023. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a questionnaire distribution
technique. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression by considering descriptive statistical tests, validity tests,
hypothesis tests, and coefficient of determination tests. Data processing using SPSS version 25 to test the partial and
simultaneous effects of the two independent variables of job market considerations (X1) and work environment (X2) on the
dependent variable of interest in becoming an accountant (Y).
