Abstract

In the Sawoo sub-district of Ponorogo Regency, it is divided into 14 villages, the majority of the population in the Sawoo sub-district work as farmers, with agricultural land in the Sawoo sub-district being quite extensive, in this area productive land for growing crops is divided into dry land and wetlands, dry land in the Sawoo sub-district has an area of approximately 5,000 hectares and wetlands are approximately 1,500 hectares. With an average air temperature of 23.9-32.2 degrees Celsius. Most of the people work as farmers, there are many problems that have not been resolved completely and fairly. For example, cases of counterfeit goods and re-labeling in the agricultural sector are very common in this area, the occurrence of widespread circulation of counterfeit goods is due to the high consumer demand and irresponsible parties falsifying the goods which is also explained in Law Articles 100-102. For example, one of the agricultural shops in Prayungan Village, Sawoo District, has received counterfeit goods and relabels several times, this problem is very detrimental to the shop and farmers in the Sawoo District, Ponorogo Regency. This creates a standard clause in the legal relationship between consumers and business actors. The purpose of this study is to see how far the law enforcement is related to counterfeit goods and relabels in the agricultural sector. This study uses an empirical or field method by means of interviews. The results of the study indicate that law enforcement in the agricultural sector is still lacking, and there needs to be education for consumers and agricultural shops, especially in the Sawoo District, Ponorogo Regency, so far there has been no further follow-up to the case from the relevant agencies and law enforcement and no perpetrators have been arrested and punished so that the perpetrators get a deterrent effect and appropriate punishment.
